Functions as the primary liaison for the BEAR function between the customer and the sites.
Assists in developing effective and efficient logistics policies and procedures, and in ensuring compliance with DOD directives.
Plans, develops and implements procedures for all BEAR equipment technical work.
Receives, reviews and submits PWS deliverables to the customer.
Channels inputs to PMO in planning, programming, solutions, and execution of the contract.
Ensures all functional activities are carried out in accordance with company standards as referenced in the PWS to meet contract requirements.
Identifies and coordinates specialized training requirements that must be provided through outside sources.
Ensures the departments have sufficient staffing to receive, secure, safely store, account for, inventory, deploy, maintain, reconstitute, and dispose of assets in accordance with PWS directives.
Provides inputs for semi-annual Program Status Review (PSR) and Program Management Review (PMR) briefings.
Communicates new directives, changes in procedures, special taskings, etc. with site department personnel.
Monitors all deployment activities to include exercises and war time response in accordance with the PWS.
Participates in the development and review of SOPs and WIs in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard.
Performs regularly scheduled QA audits throughout the AOR and submits reports to the Quality Management System.
Develops, maintains, and/or analyzes achievable metrics, as necessary, for assigned requirements for constant process improvements.
Coordinates with quality control inspectors in the identification and corrective actions of non-compliance performance.
Performs other qualified duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be able to read, understand and interpret all technical data associated with Bear Base planning and related BEAR equipment.
Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation driver’s license.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prefer five years of experience in BEAR operations with 3 years supervisory experience.
Experience with DoD/AF BEAR deployment systems preferred.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
