About the role
- Manage a team of Pre-Sales Consultants supporting Account Executives to close trials and win new business
- Partner with Account Executives to run seamless product evaluations, lead demos, discovery calls, and tailored workshops
- Translate client challenges into compelling use cases that showcase AlphaSense
- Collaborate with Support, Sales, Product, Content, and Marketing teams to close feedback loops and influence roadmap priorities
- Aggregate feedback and pivot pilot programs to optimise renewal rates and revenue growth
- Coach, mentor, and implement best practices; drive onboarding, certification and ongoing enablement programmes
- Track, report, and provide transparency on team performance metrics; establish accountability
- Evaluate and implement resource coverage models and recruit top talent while maintaining a high bar of excellence
- Build impactful cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and drive successful growth outcomes
- Learn product diligently and feed ideas into product development and beta programs
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in sales or client success
- Minimum 2 years direct people management experience managing at least 5 client-facing people
- Proven track record of managing a team of at least 5 client-facing people
- Experience operationalising the customer journey and creating scalable processes
- Ability to distil and explain complex issues in simple terms
- Significant experience working directly with users and clients to solve complex problems
- Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills
- Strong 360 communication and ability to parse nuanced data and draw actionable conclusions
- Superior ability to develop rapport and maintain relationships
- Energetic, creative, curious, and high aptitude to learn
- Ability to work autonomously in a small fast-growing company and contribute to an entrepreneurial team culture
- Effective attention to detail, time management and task prioritisation under pressure
