Investigate and confirm facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents
Determine coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjust and negotiate claims within limit of authority
Investigate and verify details of automobile accidents (obtain police reports, collect witness statements, confirm coverage, determine liability)
Partner with assigned reps for fraud or subrogation claims to achieve best outcome
Identify customer needs and meet them using appropriate customer service skills
Determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
Apply intermediate understanding of company insurance policies and industry practices
Handle investigation regarding all aspects of auto claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) with discretion and independence
Requirements
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States, as it is not our practice to sponsor individuals for work visas.
Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding of other potential property damage
Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
Applies intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
Handles investigation regarding all aspects of auto claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority
