About the role
- Have thorough knowledge of service agreements, claims guidelines and settlement procedures
- Accurately process claims by following each step of a claim
- Handle claim inquiries from customers and repair facilities and document detailed notes
- Meet call volume and quality standards (minimum 55 calls/day, on phone 80% of the time, answer within 45 seconds, average call ~5.5 minutes)
- Follow Claims comment worksheet for all notes and maintain QA standards (above 90%, audits no more than 2% errors)
- Establish good working relationships with customers and repair facilities
- Process photos for damage verification and document all gathered information
- Handle calls from specific tire programs (Dealer Tire and other level 1 calls) after training
- Update claims throughout the day and update minimum of 7 claims per day when waiting for calls
- Maintain attendance, punctuality, and readiness to take calls
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of all service agreement (terms and conditions), claims guidelines and updating\settlement claim procedures
- Quality Assurance scores above 90% with at least half having a 100% score
- Timely and accurate processing of each claim
- Handle all claim inquiries from customers and repair facilities
- Notes must include who you talked with, complete description of the failure, location of the failed component, and any other information needed
- Level 1 claims adjuster standard for calls: minimum of 55 calls each day
- Be on the phone 80% of the time and answer calls within the first 45 seconds
- Average length of calls at 5 1\2 minutes
- Follow Claims comment worksheet for all notes
- Establish good working relationships with customers and repair facilities (no complaints standard)
- Process all photos received on claims where damage verification is needed
- Have complete understanding of all tire programs (including Dealer Tire) and be able to process claims under each program
- Maintain attendance and punctuality and be ready to take phone calls at the start of scheduled shifts
- Update a minimum of 7 claims per day while waiting for a call
- Seeks additional work when assigned work is completed
