About the role
- Developing and delivering Division 8 specifications tailored to project needs
- Owning relationships with assigned architecture firms
- Collaborating across related specification sections
- Managing specification projects from inception to quote
- Reviewing distributor submittals and shop drawings
- Expanding Allegion’s footprint within existing architectural accounts
- Establishing new relationships with prospective firms
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–10 years of experience in the door hardware or architectural industry
- CDT credential preferred; progress toward AHC certification through DHI strongly encouraged
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electronic door hardware solutions
- Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems and electronic components
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive action
- Proficient in Excel and Bluebeam; experience with CAD and Revit is beneficial
- Ability to travel up to 25% within assigned territory; Overnights up to 10%
