About the role
- Facilitate learning of all Alarm.com partners through field trainings and events
- Partner with internal stakeholders/managers regarding partner needs, issues, and platform feedback
- Perform needs assessment with partners to determine level of training needed
- Gather feedback from partners and customers on how we can improve our product and services
- Assist partners in the field with installation, troubleshooting, and product testing
- Participate in product and feature testing and validation
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay up to date with new Alarm.com product release features to properly respond to partner inquiries
- Travel 50 – 75% to engage with partners and provide trainings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience of commercial installations in the field that include access control, security and video
- 1-2 years sales experience preferred, specifically in the security space
- Experience traveling 50-75% of the time in a customer service, sales or installation-oriented role highly preferred
- Works effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Experience working with multiple cross-functional partners
- Familiarity with Alarm.com highly preferred
- Proven ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with external training programs
