About the role

  • Facilitate learning of all Alarm.com partners through field trainings and events
  • Partner with internal stakeholders/managers regarding partner needs, issues, and platform feedback
  • Perform needs assessment with partners to determine level of training needed
  • Gather feedback from partners and customers on how we can improve our product and services
  • Assist partners in the field with installation, troubleshooting, and product testing
  • Participate in product and feature testing and validation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to stay up to date with new Alarm.com product release features to properly respond to partner inquiries
  • Travel 50 – 75% to engage with partners and provide trainings
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience of commercial installations in the field that include access control, security and video
  • 1-2 years sales experience preferred, specifically in the security space
  • Experience traveling 50-75% of the time in a customer service, sales or installation-oriented role highly preferred
  • Works effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience working with multiple cross-functional partners
  • Familiarity with Alarm.com highly preferred
  • Proven ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with external training programs
