About the role
- Contribute to the end-to-end design of our most complex product experiences, focusing on multi-team or cross-surface workflows
- Take the lead on designing and prototyping new user experiences with a focus on new AI focused UX
- Partner with other designers and developers to translate complex models into intuitive and effective user interfaces
- Contribute to the vision and execution for our core UI/UX, translating high-level user insights and business goals into scalable, future-proof design solutions
- Set and uphold a high bar for interaction, visual, and systems design, ensuring our experiences are thoughtful, accessible, and well-implemented at every touchpoint
- Contribute to and evolve our design system to support consistency, usability, and long-term growth, with an emphasis on component-based UI development
- Determine how conversational UX and AI is factored into the design system
- Collaborate closely with front-end engineering to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow from design to implementation
- Communicate with designers and contractors, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-trust design culture
- Actively advocate for design excellence and user experience best practices across the product, design, and development teams
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing complex digital products, with a proven track record of leading significant UI/UX initiatives in SaaS or platform environments
- A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic systems thinking, deep product design, and an end-to-end process
- Experience designing for AI or ML products is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead design initiatives across multiple product areas or teams without direct authority
- Deep fluency in design tools like Figma and extensive experience in contributing to design systems
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and facilitation skills
- Proven ability to work independently in a distributed, fast-moving environment
- Experience experimenting with AI tools in your personal or professional life - or an eagerness to learn!
