Analyst

• Reviews and evaluates loan applications from direct and indirect channels, using appropriate tools to mitigate risk.
• Analyzes credit data, financial statements, and property valuations to determine creditworthiness and lending risk.
• Ensures all application data is complete and accurate in the loan origination system.
• Makes loan decisions within authorized limits and manages the performance of an assigned loan portfolio.
• Communicates with Dealers and Representatives regarding decisions and exceptions.
• Maintains strong knowledge of lending policies, procedures, Credit Union loan products, and peripheral products (e.g., Credit Life/Disability, GAP, Vehicle Service Contracts).
• Uses the loan origination system to generate and review financial ratios.
• Provides credit-related consultation to internal departments.
• Protects the confidentiality and security of member information.
• Recommends policy and procedure changes to management.
