About the role
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to develop data science solutions
- Develop and refine customer segmentation models using unsupervised learning techniques
- Build and maintain forecasting models (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet) to predict demand and user engagement trends
- Define and exemplify the value of customers over time (LTV) and develop strategies to improve it
- Lead churn modeling initiatives to proactively identify at-risk users and recommend mitigation strategies
- Create reusable machine learning pipelines and data artifacts that scale across the organization
- Collaborate on experiment design and interpret results, including A/B testing and cohort analyses
- Share complex modeling outcomes and insights with both technical and non-technical collaborators
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, ideally within eCommerce or digital platforms
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis
- Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms
- Deep understanding of time series forecasting, including ARIMA and Prophet
- Proven ability to build and deploy unsupervised learning models for customer segmentation
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or equivalent
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, experimentation, and lifecycle analytics
- Ability to work independently and lead complex projects from ideation to delivery
