About the role
- Define and drive Braviant’s BI strategy in alignment with company goals and growth objectives
- Partner with executive leadership to identify high-impact analytical opportunities and ensure BI efforts support strategic priorities
- Champion a data-driven culture across the organization
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise BI platforms, dashboards, and automated reporting
- Oversee data governance practices, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security of information
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure BI solutions are scalable, efficient, and integrated with core systems
- Partner with business leaders to define KPIs, metrics, and success criteria for performance measurement
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations
- Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to optimize operations, marketing, risk, and customer experience
Requirements
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
- Currently residing in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in BI, analytics, or data strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik) and data visualization best practices
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
- Proven track record of building and scaling BI functions in a high-growth environment
- Confidence to productively challenge existing practices and assumptions across the organization
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Preferred: Experience in fintech, financial services, consumer lending or a data-intensive consumer business
- Preferred: Understanding of machine learning concepts and integration with BI workflows
- Preferred: Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security
