About the role
- Handle timely collection of funds owed to the company and support other accounting functions as needed.
- Manage the processing of accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Record and reconcile payments received.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable activities.
- Generate reports and provide updates on the status of receivable accounts.
- Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
