Create and review the production plan according to changes in sales forecasts or manufacturing lead times
Liaise between supply planning, demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, quality, sales and marketing functions, communicating and resolving issues and concerns
Promote a continuous improvement mindset within the supply chain organization, identify process improvement opportunities, and create and implement action plans with internal and external cross-functional teams
Lead cross-functional supply meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Regularly review production plans and inventory reports, availability/requirements for long lead items to provide production instructions to manufacturing sites
Act as the point of contact for supply planning for all new product (NPI) launch projects
Develop and maintain inventory system data, including network changes, lead times, and cost and delivery expectations; collaborate with marketing/sales and commercial teams on future promotional events and new product introductions
Responsible for his/her portfolio's inventory, customers and performance indicators
Act as a subject matter expert and train colleagues in best practices, processes, etc.
Act as a change agent, share best practices, improve working methods and processes
Perform all other related tasks
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, or a business-related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or supply planning role
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Proficiency in ERP system
Experience in materials resource planning
Bilingual French and English: to serve clients across Canada and USA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Autonomy, initiative and leadership qualities
APICS certification will be an asset
Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec
