About the role

  • Build and scale FP&A capabilities; central responsibility for corporate-level planning and cross-functional business partnering.
  • Lead company-wide budgeting & forecasting, consolidating budgets and forecasts across all departments.
  • Develop and deliver monthly financial reporting packages, including P&L, cash flow, and key business KPIs.
  • Analyze data from data warehouses and business systems to surface trends and drive data-driven forecasting.
  • Support multi-year financial modeling and scenario analysis for strategic planning and board-level presentations.
  • Partner with department heads (Product, Engineering, Publishing, G&A/Ops) to provide financial insights and track performance vs. budget.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and financial processes leveraging FP&A tool (Abacum), ERP (NetSuite), and data infrastructure.
  • Provide financial analysis for new initiatives, partnerships, and international operations, including sensitivity analysis and ROI modeling.
  • Prepare presentations for executive leadership and investors; work closely with the VP of Finance and Director of Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking; prior experience at a high-growth company or gaming/entertainment/tech industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading full budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles, with ownership over timeline, deliverables, and accuracy; ideally supported two to three cycles and led at least two end-to-end planning/reporting cycles.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Experience with FP&A tools (Abacum a plus), ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and querying/analyzing data from data warehouses or BI platforms.
  • Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
