About the role
- Role involves on-site system startups, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and customer training for Acuity’s lighting and control systems\n
- Service coverage primarily in Georgia with additional support in Mexico and Canada; engagements range from 1 to 5 days\n
- Collaborates with Engineering Teams and Focus Factories to identify opportunities for product/process improvements\n
- Comprehensive training and tools provided to technicians to resolve customer challenges efficiently
Requirements
- Having a degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline\n
- Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in a field service role with electrical and mechanical responsibilities\n
- Strong aptitude in electrical systems, control technologies, and schematic interpretation\n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems.\n
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively\n
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams\n
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport required\n
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus for international support
