About the role
- Reporting to the leader of the Transactional Center of Expertise (COE) within the Law and Business Environment (LBE) team
- Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a variety of global sales contracts; providing advice on general business matters
- Supervising outside counsel as necessary; developing and improving processes
- Supporting global sales teams; drafting technology-related contracts; managing risk in line with company strategies
- Hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia
Requirements
- Experience reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial and sales agreements
- Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize projects and meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Legal research and drafting proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle a large-volume of work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Business-oriented problem solving and judgment
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to exercise independent legal judgement within company’s risk tolerance
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle tools or legal operations platforms is a plus
- Experience advising an international manufacturing business and negotiating global contracts is strongly preferred
- Travel Requirements: 1-20%
