Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations; serve, demonstrate, intercept consumers and sell products in a professional manner.
Manage and maintain equipment and supplies used for events, ensuring they are clean and secured in the agreed upon area of the backroom.
Act as point of contact and communicate with store management when Supervisor is absent.
Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials and tools; provide leadership and knowledge to the team.
Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines and using small appliances.
Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution and take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup to document success stories.
Complete expense reports as per Company Policy and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel and assist with preparation for client visits and audit corrections.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
Food Safety Professional Certification required.
Local Food handlers permit if required.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb (including use of a 6’ ladder), and balance for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product.
Ability to prepare foods using raw products and operate cooking utensils and small appliances (knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves).
Ability to maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
