💰 £100,000 - £130,000 per year
About the role
- Develop and own a forward-thinking privacy strategy positioning privacy as a business enabler
- Support mission of responsible innovation and ensure protection of users' and patients' rights while enabling the business to move at pace
- Enable the rollout of safe and compliant AI into products, ensuring patient data is safeguarded
- Build, manage and scale a high-performing privacy and data protection function; coach and mentor the team
- Act as a key leader in the Technology division and trusted partner to the CISO
- Challenge and shape how privacy practices and controls are implemented within products and services
- Influence senior leadership and partner with technology, product, and clinical teams
- Represent the business externally to regulators and partners
Requirements
- Proven ability to guide technology organizations through responsible innovation and transformational change
- Experience where emerging technologies like AI/ML intersect with sensitive data
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and trends in digital health, AI, and data ethics
- Experience building and leading privacy or data protection teams, growing capability and nurturing talent
- Ability to influence at the senior leadership level and partner with technology, product, and clinical teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the business externally to regulators and partners
- Coaching and mentoring experience to develop a high-performing privacy and data protection function
- Experience supporting business growth while protecting rights of users and patients
