About the role
- Shape the future of AI at Knauf by guiding global business units and markets in turning high-potential ideas into impactful, AI-empowered solutions
- Build and evolve governance practices that ensure AI is trusted, transparent, and compliant while enabling innovation
- Act as the connector between countries, functions, and teams, fostering collaboration to transform local initiatives into scalable global successes
- Drive AI projects end-to-end, from exploration to rollout, ensuring they deliver measurable value, stay aligned with strategy, and create lasting impact

Requirements
- Extensive experience in AI strategy, governance, or product/project leadership
- Proven track record of delivering ambitious ideas into real-world results
- Deep knowledge of AI technologies, data pipelines, and model lifecycles
- Ability to translate technical insights into business value across diverse teams and markets
- Regulatory expertise (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, risk frameworks)
- Experience in international, cross-functional environments collaborating with business, legal, and technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration, curiosity, and future-focused mindset
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and momentum
