About the role
- Report to the IT Audit Manager and work as part of a small Internal Audit team
- Plan and execute Internal Audit engagements focused on Information Systems, Data Management and IT Infrastructure
- Undertake independent and objective risk assessments and internal controls evaluations
- Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements and efficiencies
- Prepare and present relevant, impactful and timely reports to key stakeholders
- Monitor and track implementation of audit recommendations
- Undertake investigations as required
- Partner with stakeholders and operate as a critical friend
- Collaborate with other lines of defence to foster a risk-aware culture
- Drive development and adoption of data analytics and AI-led audit techniques
- Identify risks and vulnerabilities in information systems and provide remediation solutions
- Collaborate with IT and management teams to define best practices and improvements
- Stay updated on trends in information systems and cybersecurity
Requirements
- There are no essential experience requirements, but the following would be an advantage:
- Information Systems Audit qualification or similar (e.g. CISA)
- Prior audit experience working in technology related Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance or a related role
- Experience of using data analytics or AI led audit techniques
- Experience in the gaming or entertainment sectors would be an advantage
- Experience of operating in a highly regulated environment
