About the role

  • Develop a complete understanding of internal and supplier claims processes and the impact of inefficient processes
  • Design and develop relevant, effective audit approaches
  • Deliver independent, balanced and accurate/evidenced audit reporting
  • Manage relationships with senior supplier personnel to ensure scoping, attendance, agendas and feedback
  • Identify areas for indemnity savings, strengths and areas for development and provide focused solutions
  • Complete and apply root cause analysis, including assessment of systems, controls and complaints
  • Conduct both on-site and remote risk-based audits
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure claims processes remain efficient, compliant and customer focused

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience developing understanding of internal and supplier claims processes, new commercial initiatives and best practice
  • Experience designing and developing audit approaches and delivering independent, balanced and accurate/evidenced reporting
  • Experience managing relationships with senior personnel within suppliers (scoping, attendance, agendas, feedback)
  • Experience identifying areas for indemnity savings and providing focused solutions
  • Experience completing root cause analysis, including assessment of systems, controls and complaints
  • Experience completing both on-site and remote risk-based audits
  • Extensive motor claims knowledge and/or motor and home claims experience
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret MI and identify areas of risk and opportunity
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to challenge appropriately
  • Right to work in the UK (candidates requiring sponsorship cannot be progressed)
  • Ability to work hybrid from Leicester, London or Bexhill locations
