Ensure the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives
Formulate sales strategies for markets within the assigned geography and product lines to attain revenue goals
Work with sales representatives to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential and to establish and achieve sales objectives
Manage, coach and develop sales representatives, clinical representatives, and other field personnel
Recruit, coach and develop organizational talent and foster a diverse workplace
Negotiate contracts with external customers and keep the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity
Provide direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff and may supervise non-exempt employees
Demonstrate effective change leadership and build strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives
Develop and execute organizational and operational policies; monitor compliance with company policies and regulations (e.g., FDA, BSI, EEO)
Develop, monitor and adjust the annual budget for department(s); make decisions regarding work processes and operational plans
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
5+ years of related work experience (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
Ability to provide direction and monitor progress of exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff
Able to perform this job in a quality system environment
Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements (may include COVID-19 vaccination); medical or religious accommodations possible
Travel required 50-75%
Must live in the geography of the region (Manhattan, Long Island, Northern NJ)
Preferred: Advanced degree
Preferred: Prior experience/knowledge of medical devices, especially interventional cardiology
Preferred: Structural Heart experience
