About the role

  • Ensure assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives for Structural Heart TEER.
  • Formulate sales strategies for markets within assigned geography and product lines to attain revenue goals.
  • Work with sales representatives to identify/evaluate market opportunities and sales potential and establish/achieve sales objectives.
  • Manage and coach activities of sales representatives, clinical representatives, and other field personnel; recruit and develop talent.
  • Negotiate contracts with external customers and keep the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity.
  • Provide direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff; may supervise non-exempt employees.
  • Develop and execute organizational and operational policies; monitor compliance with company policies and regulations (e.g., FDA, BSI, EEO).
  • Monitor and adjust annual budgets; make decisions regarding work processes, operational plans, and schedules to achieve department objectives.
  • Build strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to provide direction and monitor progress of exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff toward departmental goals.
  • Able to perform this job in a quality system environment (compliance with governmental regulations).
  • Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.
  • Travel required: 50-75%.
  • Must live in the geography of the region (Manhattan, Long Island, Northern NJ).
  • Preferred: Advanced degree.
  • Preferred: Prior experience/knowledge of medical devices, especially interventional cardiology.
  • Strong consideration given to candidates with Structural Heart experience.
