About the role
- Support Abbott percutaneous treatment options for ASD, PDA and VSD and lead market development for congenital structural heart therapies.
- Collaborate with the Territory Manager and Region Director to provide customer procedure coverage ensuring best clinical outcomes.
- Serve as the primary resource in the cath lab for procedure preparation, troubleshooting, proctoring, and education.
- Train physicians and ancillary personnel on the use of Structural Heart products and the importance of our therapies.
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform them of latest product, therapy, and technology developments.
- Actively engage in clinical, procedural, and technical discussions to convey benefits of Abbott products and therapies.
- Communicate product, clinical, and market data to Abbott personnel to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Actively participate at industry conferences and Abbott functions.
Requirements
- BS/BA or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience.
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.
- Position may be hired at different level depending on candidate experience.
- This position may require travel in excess of 50% of the time.
- Preferred: Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, RT, NP, etc.).
- Preferred: Cardiac Cath lab experience (wires, sheaths, catheters, etc.).
- Preferred: Cardiac echo and fluoroscopic imaging interpretation experience.
- Preferred: Medical device industry experience.
- Preferred: Experience in Structural Heart, Electrophysiology, Radiology.
