About the role

  • Support development of multi-year strategic plans at the enterprise and business unit levels
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Analyze internal performance data to identify key strategic insights and performance drivers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Innovation, HR, Technology, etc.) to inform strategic priorities
  • Support business case development for new initiatives, partnerships, and M&A assessments
  • Build executive-level presentations and briefing materials for strategic planning sessions
  • Partner with Strategy Execution and Recognition teams to monitor progress and performance of core strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 6 years of related professional experience, including 2-5 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy with exposure to the Property & Casualty industry
  • Experience supporting strategic planning cycles, including long-range planning
  • Proven competitive benchmarking, industry trend analysis, and financial modeling skills
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional peers and executive leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree and completion of MBA a plus
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and synthesizing complex data sets
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership
