About the role
- Design, execute, and interpret complex analyses using large-scale Medicare and Medicaid claims data (i.e., T-MSIS, TAF, and other Medicaid data sources).
- Develop predictive models, risk stratification tools, and/or cost/utilization analyses to drive insights into healthcare trends, population health, and program performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, policy, and development teams to translate data insights into business strategy and scalable solutions.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and privacy standards are met in accordance with CMS guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
- Mentor earlier career data analysts, providing technical guidance and review.
- Stay current on industry trends, CMS policy changes, and emerging methods in health data science and analytics.
- Build relationships with clients (DSG) and business owners in CMCS or with other key stakeholders when needed.
- Provide thought leadership and consultation to help customers achieve their vision and goals.
- Develop briefing papers for government customers.
- Set the vision for data projects, including establishing short- and long-term goals and objectives.
- Create work plans, break down tasks, and help develop communication strategies supporting project goals.
- Act as a customer point of contact for data insight.
Requirements
- Our contracts require employees to work from the United States. That includes all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, and all US territories.
- A1M employees must have been residents in the United States for 3 of the past 5 years.
- Due to tax reasons, A1M employees cannot reside in New York state.
- You must already have legal authorization to work within the US and not require ongoing visa sponsorship to maintain legal authorization to work.
- New hires will need to complete a Public Trust form (SF85 or SF85P) and fingerprints.
- Flexibility in hours for EST partners; ability to work EST hours when needed.
