About the role
- Own brand strategy, identity, voice, and creative across all touchpoints
- Build a repeatable, data-driven demand engine across content, paid media, lifecycle, and partnerships
- Design the operating system: cadences, briefs, KPIs, budgets, QA checklists, and reporting
- Lead execution with a player-coach mindset and build/coach a high-performing marketing team
- Partner with Sales, Product, and CS to define ICP, segmentation, GTM, and messaging/feedback loops
- Drive content engine: case studies, landing pages, scripts, email campaigns, video ads, and rigorous A/B testing
- Scale and optimize paid media (Google & Meta, ~$35k+/mo) and pilot new channels with ROI discipline
- Own lifecycle playbooks and outreach to improve activation, upsell, and lead quality
- Manage partnerships and affiliates end-to-end to deliver trackable revenue
- Establish measurement framework (pipeline, CAC, MQL volume/quality, channel ROI) and report to leadership
Requirements
- Proven experience creating brand strategies that win in competitive SaaS markets
- Experience helping scale B2B SaaS from ~$5M to ~$20M ARR (or similar growth-stage scaling)
- Player-coach leadership: set VP-level strategy and execute and build/coaching high-performing marketing teams
- Data storyteller: turn performance data into decisions (SQL/BI a plus)
- Experience with content, paid media, lifecycle marketing, and partnerships/affiliate programs
- Experience managing paid media (Google & Meta; currently $35k+/mo) and optimizing channel ROI
- Experience owning annual/quarterly marketing plans, budgets, KPI trees, and measurement frameworks
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, and Customer Success
- Experience designing lifecycle playbooks (email/SMS), direct mail, and lead nurturing
- Experience with A/B testing creative and copy
- Proven ability to build and scale affiliate/channel programs
