About the role

  • Own Net Revenue, Contribution Margin, unit economics, LTV, and forecast accuracy
  • Lead the commercial engine end-to-end: Partnerships/Supply, Strategic Demand Partnerships, Proprietary Products & Monetization, Pricing & Yield, LTV, Revenue Operations & Analytics, Lifecycle/CRM, Policy & Monetization Experiments, and Agency Operations
  • Strengthen supply & demand by improving carrier economics, expanding state coverage, vertical expansion and B2B partnerships
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ship pricing/ranking experiments and funnel improvements to raise quote-to-bind and contribution margin
  • Implement performance management systems: KPIs, OKRs, revenue truth model, RevOps dashboards, revenue council cadence, and experiment governance
  • Build and enforce comp plans tied to margin gates; hire, mentor and develop a high-caliber commercial organization
  • Own daily performance of agency/contact center including staffing, WFM, conversion/QC/QA targets, scripting, compliance, and vendor management

Requirements

  • 15+ years driving revenue in marketplace/fintech/insurtech or adjacent regulated categories with ownership of a $1.0B+ multi‑channel P&L
  • Proven pricing/yield optimization and partner/carrier negotiation track record
  • Leadership of teams across Partnerships, RevOps/Analytics, and Enterprise/B2B
  • Data fluency: strong SQL literacy and BI familiarity (Looker/Tableau/Mode); experimentation at scale
  • Experience developing C-level relationships with carrier partners and improving carrier economics
  • Experience leading agency/contact center operations, staffing, WFM, QC/QA, scripting, and vendor management (preferred)
  • Preferred: P&C insurance/MGA exposure; contact-center sales leadership; deploying AI/agent assist in sales or QA
  • Operator‑athlete leadership traits: hands-on with data, decisive, accountable, builder of VP-level talent, customer-trust oriented
