Record daily financial transactions; ensure all entries are accurately posted to the general ledger with proper categorization.
Process accounts payable and receivable; maintain up-to-date vendor and client balances and ensure timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts; deliver monthly reconciliation reports with zero unexplained variances.
Prepare financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements for internal and external use.
Manage payroll and statutory contributions; ensure correct salary disbursements and compliance with government filing deadlines.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities; provide reliable financial data and variance analysis to aid strategic planning.
Maintain organized documentation and audit trails; ensure all records are complete, accessible, and audit-ready.
Monitor compliance with accounting standards and internal policies; identify and report discrepancies while upholding financial integrity and regulatory adherence.
Requirements
Senior-Advanced Level experience tier
Minimum 20 hours/week availability
English language; neutral accent preferred
Experience with QuickBooks (required)
Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, SAP, or similar) is a plus
Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
Familiarity with payroll systems and government compliance platforms
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and budget reports
Experience with bank reconciliations and audit preparation
High level of accuracy in data entry and documentation
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
