Support the accurate and timely administration of benefits across the employee lifecycle, including new hire onboarding, offboarding, COBRA administration, life events, HSA administration, day-to-day benefits questions and leave of absence administration. Supporting larger benefit projects such as Open Enrollment, 401(k) audit, ACA, implementation of new benefits, etc.
Work under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Manager, Global Benefits to ensure the benefits experience for ‘Bits is smooth and approachable, as well as compliant.
Collaborate with the larger benefits team (our counterparts in Canada) to provide a globally consistent benefits experience
Support benefit communication initiatives and ensure all benefits materials are easy-to-understand and follow, consistent with plan documents and updated as needed throughout the year.
Assist with the benefits renewal process, including gathering data, reviewing plan materials, preparing for open enrollment and communications support as needed
Assist in ensuring that our benefits operations are compliant with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Build strong partnerships with internal partners (Payroll, Legal, HR BPs) and external benefits vendors and brokers by acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day inquiries and data requests.
Assisting with the accurate and timely processing of invoices, performing routine benefit deduction and enrollment audits/reconciliation, and providing data support for various benefits programs.
Partnering with Payroll to ensure accurate payroll deductions.
Ensure all benefits data in the HRIS is accurate and flows seamlessly to all benefit carriers.
Providing support for the company's 401(k) plan administration, compliance tasks and employee inquiries.
Support the annual 401(k) compliance and audit tasks.
Requirements
2-3 years of progressive benefits experience (benefit analyst experience is a plus)
Proven experience in day-to-day benefits administration, including new hire enrollment, open enrollment, qualifying life event changes, HSA administration COBRA, ACA, FSA, HSA and 401(k) and benefits offboarding.
A dedicated and empathetic point of contact for employee benefits questions, providing timely and accurate support.
A detailed-oriented, curious, analytical thinker, naturally proactive and innate problem-solver.
Experience with leave of absence management, including FMLA, ADA, processing leave requests (with vendor support) and coordinating with employees and carriers.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data auditing and reconciliation, including preparing invoices for payment. Must have strong excel skills.
A strong focus on accuracy and data integrity. Independently find and resolve discrepancies, through regular audits and reconciliation.
Knowledge of 401(k) plan support including rollovers, external audits, compliance and providing assistance with plan administration and employee inquiries.
An understanding of benefits compliance requirements, providing support to ensure our plans meet all regulatory standards.
Experience with HRIS/HCMs and benefits administration systems. Knowledge of UKG Benefits Prime or Plansource products is a plus.
