Work with functional leadership to ensure the organization is aligned to the company strategy, culture, and values
Partner with leaders to align current and future business needs into an overall integrated People plan for the function, focusing on opportunities that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business
Partner with leaders to ensure Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, isn’t an “HR topic” - everyone plays a part
Support performance management of staff and manage employee relations, when necessary
Structure the performance review process, and train managers to be able to give feedback on their own
Participate in company-wide performance campaigns
Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRIS, and Total Rewards teams to implement solutions and help scale the business
Proactively assess team, manager, organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
Continuously challenge job descriptions and comp/ben mechanisms to ensure adequacy between organizational efforts and strategic importance of each population (in collaboration with the TA team)
Gather key Learning & Development needs and collaborate with the L&D team to ensure that needs are met
Measure the engagement survey – and analyze it to understand insights and recommendations
Build and manage compensation structures with the Total Rewards team
Analyze results and suggest improvements
Ability to manage HR projects and guide the HR team
Requirements
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, or other related fields
Experience supporting an operational function, inclusive of call center employees, is required
Experience in insurance and/or a start-up, a plus
Predictive Index certification preferred
Ability to position self as credible (garners respect, acts with integrity, keeps commitments); proactive (has a point of view, challenges assumptions, takes initiative); and a trusted thought-partner (builds relationships, delivers results).
Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment in a period of growth
Experience managing change for growth organizations
Knowledge of Federal and State labor laws
