AVP, Consumer Accounts Resolution Team Lead

• lead the end-to-end coordination and completion of M&A transactions
• ensure seamless alignment between strategy, diligence, deal execution, and integration planning
• partner closely with executive and senior leadership, business development, finance, legal, HR, IT, and business unit stakeholders
• own end to end execution, setting and driving timelines, milestones, and decision gates from diligence through pre- and post-closing of transactions
• identify and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies throughout the transaction lifecycle
• establish and maintain M&A playbooks, tools, and governance frameworks
• serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing concise, actionable updates on transaction status, key risks, trade-offs, and decisions required.

VP, Strategic Acquisitions

• Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Internal Controls department, including defining its mandate, structure, and operational procedures.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on internal controls, providing guidance and education to business partners and senior management.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive, risk-based SOX compliance program that meets regulatory requirements and provides assurance over the company’s internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Lead walkthroughs of key business processes and collaborate with process owners across the company to design effective, preventative, and efficient controls.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize financial reporting and operational risks inherent to the P&C insurance business.
• Evaluate and mature the company's control environment by providing strategic risk guidance and designing mitigating controls.
• Establish and monitor key risk and performance indicators to provide early identification of risk trends and potential control deficiencies.
• Embed themselves in key company initiatives to provide risk and control advisory support for system upgrades and implementations.
• Lead the evaluation of control deficiencies to understand root cause and impact and work with process owners to develop effective remediation plans.
• Champion a continuous improvement mindset, challenging existing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement efficiencies.
• Evaluate controls and processes for opportunities to leverage automation and new technologies, reducing manual effort and improving control effectiveness.
• Partner with management to provide value-added recommendations that address identified control weaknesses in a sustainable and effective manner.
• Liaise directly with the company’s internal and external auditors, serving as the main point of contact for all SOX and internal control matters.
• Report regularly to senior leadership and the Audit Committee on the status of the internal control environment, highlighting key risks and progress on remediation.
• Collaborate with other governance and risk functions (e.g., Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit) to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to risk management.

AVP – Internal Controls

• Lead and develop a high-performing contract team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability
• Drive contracting and network strategies across our Commercial business and other product lines to strengthen market competitiveness
• Negotiate complex fee-for-service and value-based contracts with health systems, hospitals, and large provider groups to improve affordability and quality
• Build and maintain trusted provider partnerships, expanding value-based opportunities and advancing local market strategy
• Champion cross-market and cross-functional initiatives that support broader business goals
• Collaborate with matrix partners (i.e., Claims, Medical Management, Credentialing) to ensure smooth operations and aligned execution
• Identify opportunities to advance value-based contracting and expand new risk-based arrangements, supported by strong financial impact analyses, performance modeling, and scenario planning
• Oversee provider relationship management, competitive landscape awareness, and accurate, timely contract loading and network implementation

Provider Contracting Senior Manager – Network Management

• Efficiently manage the quarterly valuation process, and assist the team of valuation professionals by providing guidance and quality control
• Supervise workflow to produce on time deliveries
• Help execute valuation reviews and client consulting engagements through implementation of organizational and technical skills
• Communication/coordinate with market participants, clients, and co-workers
• Review 3rd party appraisal reports
• Develop reviews, consulting reports and other deliverables
• Complete quarterly client presentations
• Resolve non-compliant issues through verbal and written communication with client or other involved parties
• Work independently on projects and also collaborate ‘face to face’ as a team player
• Be an engagement/client lead and/or property type lead, day-to-day communication with clients

VP, Valuation Management

• Responsible for the strategic direction, operational leadership, and technical excellence of the organization’s most complex and high-exposure claims
• Oversee a diverse portfolio including complex products liability, class actions, coverage litigation, complex construction defect claims, excess and surplus lines, general liability and commercial auto litigation
• Serve as a key technical and leadership authority within the claim’s organization
• Provide executive-level guidance on claim strategy, reserving, litigation management, risk transfer, and resolution of high-severity matters
• Partner with the VP of Corporate Technical Claims on enterprise-level initiatives involving Legal, Underwriting, Actuarial, Reinsurance, and external counsel to drive consistent, predictable, and optimal outcomes
