Urgent Care

• Oversee paraprofessionals providing services
• Provide direct nursing care
• Carry out treatment and supportive care as directed by the Prescriber or Vice President of Operations
• Assess and document individuals' appropriateness for services
• Educate individuals about mental illness and substance use disorder
• Participate in the development of discharge and referral plans
• Ensure proper referrals or placements for individuals needing a higher level of care
• Monitor health and safety of individuals receiving services
• Crisis intervention, medication administration, referral for emergency medical treatment as necessary
• Attend and participate in meetings and training as required
• Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements
• Demonstrate compliance with agency policies and procedures and state and federal statutes

Registered Nurse / RN, Psychiatric Crisis & Urgent Care Services

• The primary responsibilities of the Registered Nurse position are to oversee paraprofessionals who provide services, as well as, provide direct nursing care to the people we support from the Behavioral Health Division of Monarch.
• Assess and document individuals' appropriateness for services, level of functioning, health status, mental status, medical history, medications, and medication compliance.
• Educate individuals receiving services about mental illness and substance use disorder, participate in the development of discharge and referral plans.
• Ensure that people who need a higher level or different level of care are referred or placed.
• Monitor individuals who are receiving services to ensure health and safety.
