About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The primary responsibilities of the Registered Nurse position are to oversee paraprofessionals who provide services, as well as, provide direct nursing care to the people we support from the Behavioral Health Division of Monarch.
  • Assess and document individuals' appropriateness for services, level of functioning, health status, mental status, medical history, medications, and medication compliance.
  • Educate individuals receiving services about mental illness and substance use disorder, participate in the development of discharge and referral plans.
  • Ensure that people who need a higher level or different level of care are referred or placed.
  • Monitor individuals who are receiving services to ensure health and safety.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates: Nursing (Required)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Board of Nursing
  • Experience in a crisis management setting or service during which the individual provided crisis response | 1 Year | Required
  • Experience working with children or adults in a behavioral health capacity | 1 Year | Required
