• Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers, (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS and clinical caregivers.
• Their technical skills are on par with their Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts.

Senior Service Engineer – ServiceNow AI

• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow platform solutions, including IT service management (ITSM), IT operations management (ITOM), and business process automation (BPA) applications, to meet Army requirements and objectives
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow platform components, including modules, forms, workflows, and integrations, to support Army IT service delivery and operational needs
• Develop custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies, to address specific Army business requirements and use cases
• Integrate ServiceNow platform with external systems and applications using web services, APIs, and middleware technologies, and develop orchestration workflows and automation scripts to streamline IT processes
• Perform platform administration tasks, including user management, role-based access control (RBAC), performance tuning, and system maintenance, to ensure the reliability and availability of the ServiceNow platform
• Support incident and problem management processes by configuring and customizing ServiceNow ITSM modules, implementing incident workflows, and facilitating root cause analysis and resolution
• Document ServiceNow platform configurations, customizations, and development activities, and provide training and support to end users and stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices and usage

ServiceNow Software Engineer

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex ServiceNow solutions leveraging modern platform capabilities, best practices, and extensibility frameworks
• Act as a technical authority across SAM (HAM/SAM Pro), ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Health), SPM, and enterprise analytics and reporting
• Architect and govern CMDB and Asset Management solutions, ensuring data quality, normalization, reconciliation, lifecycle integrity, and operational reliability
• Design scalable CMDB models that support ITOM visibility, asset lifecycles, compliance, reporting, and integration with downstream systems
• Deliver advanced platform solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, custom APIs, Script Includes, and asynchronous processing
• Build and optimize Platform Analytics, Performance Analytics, and executive-level dashboards, driving data-informed decision-making
• Leverage emerging ServiceNow capabilities such as Service Exchange, Platform Analytics, AI/Automation frameworks, and next-generation reporting tools
• Define technical patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures aligned with platform strategy and long-term sustainment
• Partner with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Operations to translate strategic goals into robust technical solutions
• Mentor engineers and provide architectural guidance through design reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching
• Lead complex troubleshooting efforts, including CMDB health issues, discovery failures, integration bottlenecks, and performance degradation
• Produce high-quality, audit-ready technical documentation, including solution designs, data models, and architectural diagrams

Staff Software Engineer – ServiceNow ITAM

• The ServiceNow Service Portal Developer is responsible for creating and updating mobile and web‑based sites and portals within the ServiceNow platform
• This role partners closely with UX/UI designers and the platform team to build new Service Portal components—including portals, pages, and custom widgets—aligned with ServiceNow best practices.

Front End Web Developer, Senior ServiceNow Portal

• Support the delivery of ITIL-aligned digital workflows on the ServiceNow platform
• Design, configure, and enhance ITSM solutions
• Build workflows, automations, and integrations using ServiceNow scripting and Flow Designer
• Lead client-facing workshops, gather requirements, and educate clients on best practices for ITSM

Senior Staff, ServiceNow ITSM

• Support pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, project scoping, lead proof of concepts and assist with preparing SOWs (Statement of Work)

• Analyze business needs and translate them into functional requirements on the ServiceNow platform
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for ServiceNow solutions (including CSM or FSO modules)
• Work with developers and architects to design scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with best practices
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements using ServiceNow features such as Flow Designer, Playbooks, and automation tools
• Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub)
• Develop test cases, support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and validate that solutions meet business requirements
• Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams
