• You will be the driving force behind the lighting and visual atmosphere of our games.
• You will be responsible for achieving the artistic direction and standards for lighting.
• You will work closely with the Lead Lighting Artist and other art disciplines.
• You will provide guidance and feedback to other teams for consistent lighting across all aspects of the game.
• You will be heavily involved in the technical aspects of lighting.
• You will collaborate with Technical Artists and Graphics Developers to implement advanced lighting systems.
• You will contribute to the development of tools and pipelines to streamline the lighting workflow.

Principal Lighting Artist

• Support the master material shaders design process, fostering a high standard of technical practices and artistic excellence in line with project goals.
• Create and maintain complex Unreal Master Material Shaders.
• Create PBR photo-realistic textures and Material Instances.
• Collaborating with the Art Director and other discipline leads to drive the development and innovation of material workflows that maximise visual impact.
• Establishing best practices for material creation, documentation of workflows, and the development of new tools and techniques.
• Working with Technical Artists and Render Engineers to optimise shader content and ensure performance targets are met.
• Driving research and implementation of advanced material techniques, technologies, and industry standards.
