Pricing Analyst

• Develop and execute pricing strategies that maximize profitability by aligning prices with customer-perceived value
• Lead competitive pricing analysis and market intelligence efforts to strengthen StarTech.com's market position
• Develop a deep understanding of IT buyer behavior and partner with Product and Marketing teams to create pricing structures
• Own omni-channel pricing strategy and governance across distribution, reseller, Amazon, and direct channels
• Establish pricing performance metrics, leverage pricing tools and technologies, and implement governance frameworks

Pricing Manager

• Assisting with the pricing and service-delivery related aspects of pitches and proposals.
• Developing Alternative Fee Arrangements (“AFAs”) and budgets for clients across all offices.
• Developing template budget and project management tools for different matter types, and fee data analytics and other pricing tools to streamline the budgeting process for client matters.
• Carrying out matter profitability analysis in relation to historical, existing and potential matters.
• Promoting various service delivery efficiency initiatives, including in relation to alternative staffing approaches, the use of technology tools for different legal processes, and the reengineering of legal services.
• Supporting and leading various projects, including: Supporting the Directors and Managers of the Pricing and LPM Team to devise more streamlined client service processes and identify opportunities for automation and technology.
• Analyzing, modeling, organizing and storing information to support legal service delivery innovation, including the development of pricing data analytics to be used for the development of client fee estimates and alternative fee arrangements.
• Helping service delivery innovation projects meet schedules, business and budget objectives.
• Working directly with Directors and Managers of the Pricing and LPM CSD Team to identify existing and emerging client and lawyer pain points.
• Developing an understanding of new legal technology and identify ways that processes and technology can be used to solve client and lawyer pain points.
• Working with other members of the Pricing and LPM CSD Team to design and build client solutions.

Pricing Specialist

• Lead and manage case escalations across quotes, marketing, and renewals, ensuring timely, high-quality pricing support.
• Ensure pricing decisions are well-documented, clearly communicated, and aligned with established guidelines and risk appetite.
• Respond to ad-hoc pricing and risk requests across all Group Benefits products, partnering closely with Underwriting and Product teams.
• Independently assess the risk and financial viability of the majority of escalated cases, escalating to the Director as appropriate for particularly complex or large cases.
• Liaise with Underwriting and Business Development to fully understand requests, business context, and key risk considerations.
• Provide project support and contribute to special initiatives as required, including potential involvement in market segment review preparation.

Senior Pricing Analyst – SL Health Pricing

• Assess the requirements, risks, competitive pressures and financial feasibility of Defined Contribution pricing cases
• Use the Pricing Model to produce pricing scenarios and alternate fee options for new and in-force Defined Contribution pension plans
• Use data to determine the appropriate benchmark and recommend fees that are appropriate based on the quantitative and service level specifications of the pension plan
• Summarize analyses and recommendations clearly and concisely to obtain pricing approvals according to established Pricing Guidelines
• Propose and communicate pricing options/changes for new and existing plans to Customer Relationship Executives/Managers and Regional Directors of Business Development
• Prepare Letter of Commitment Document to be presented to clients
• Analyze the requirements and costs associated with the recordkeeping services identified in the Request For Proposal (RFP) received from Regional Directors of Business Development
• Maintain and update Pricing Model and supporting infrastructure
