Network Engineer I – Network Services

• Lead end-to-end network architecture and design for global, multi-site, data center, cloud, and hybrid network solutions
• Define high-level and detailed designs (logical and physical), including topology, routing, IP addressing, segmentation, resilience, capacity, and Quality of Service (QoS)
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, reference designs, design patterns, and best practices
• Perform capacity planning, traffic engineering, and scalability analysis
• Validate designs with modeling and lab testing

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated design or deployment issues
• Drive cross-team collaboration with security, cloud, storage, compute, procurement, and operations to ensure cohesive solutions
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level network engineers and designers
• Participate in architecture governance, architecture review boards, and present designs and trade-offs to stakeholders and executives

Network Engineer I

• Architect, Deploy, configure, and maintain F5 BIG-IP appliances (Local Traffic Manager/LTM, Global Traffic Manager/DNS)
• Extensive experience with F5 Viprions, Velos and AVI
• Architect Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) and Local Server Load Balancing (LSLB), manage SSL/TLS offloading, and configure Web Application Firewalls (WAF/ASM)
• Develop F5 iRules for traffic customization and use APIs or Ansible for automation
• Deep understanding of LTM configurations, and health monitoring
• Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security, resolving issues to ensure high availability
• Work with network and security teams to integrate F5 solutions into cloud or on-premise infrastructure
• Collaborate with internal teams including Information Technology (IT) security, Tech Fellow and stakeholders to align network architecture with business requirements
• Strong understanding of Layer 4-7 traffic management, HTTP and SSL/TLS encryptions

Senior Network Designer

• Act as the final point of escalation for technical issues related to systems and servers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues involving server infrastructure, operating systems, and related services.
• Provide expert-level support for virtualization and cloud environments.
• Responsible for entering or updating service tickets and time and expenses in ConnectWise as it occurs
• Actively participate in disaster recovery and 911 situations relating to client systems and servers
• Provide the highest level of customer service, perception, and satisfaction
• Work through a daily schedule in ConnectWise of on-going ticket review
• Update tickets regularly and keep the customer and or team informed, i.e., keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages

• Support the provisioning and onboarding of new customers for managed services.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve support issues and ensure smooth service delivery.

• Lead customer onboarding into Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN environments, managing integration and migration from start to finish
• Support and troubleshoot multi-vendor environments across WAN, LAN, firewalls, VPNs, LTE circuits, VoIP, and Metaswitch UCaaS/voice services
