About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment including routers, switches, modems, and structured cabling.
Perform diagnostics and repairs on network hardware and software issues.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on network infrastructure.
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to support network upgrades and expansions.
Document network configurations, maintenance activities, and service reports.
Respond to service tickets and troubleshoot connectivity issues in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
Assist in planning and implementing network security measures.
Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
Work in a safe and effective manner.
Maintain confidentiality of company information and records when required.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree or technical certification in Telecommunications, Networking, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
3-5 years of experience in telecommunications or network support
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)/Administrator (PCNSA), or BICSI
