Mechanical Engineer

• The person in this position performs design and stress analyses of pressure vessels, reactor vessel internals, and/or primary equipment supports in accordance with ASME BPVC Section III and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Performs and documents evaluations of components to the rules and requirements of Section III of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code including but not limited to analysis of components for pressure, mechanical/thermal loadings including Primary Stress, Primary plus Secondary stress intensity range, and Fatigue.
• Utilizes the results from these evaluations to optimize component(s) design.
• Direct experience with ANSYS finite element software and CAD packages.
• Interprets scope and project requirements.

Mechanical Engineer 3 – NSSS Component Engineering Analysis

Mechanical Engineer 3 – NSSS Vessels & Structures

• Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Design Engineer partners closely with Product Design and Product Engineering to build high-quality, user-centered software experiences.
• Focuses on translating product and design intent into scalable, accessible, and performant interfaces and systems.
• Bridges design and engineering by contributing to design systems, frontend architecture, and implementation details that directly impact end-user experience.
• Supports the product team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.
• Builds and maintains user-facing product features with a strong emphasis on usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Partners with Product Designers to translate design concepts, prototypes, and UX flows into production-ready implementations.
• Contributes to and evolves the product design system, component libraries, and UI patterns.
• Collaborates with Product and Engineering teams to define interaction patterns, technical constraints, and implementation approaches.
• Ensures design fidelity, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across supported platforms.
• Advocates for best practices in frontend architecture, design quality, and developer experience.

Design Engineer

• Act as the Owner’s primary expert on technology strategy, design, and integration for data center projects.
• Translate business requirements into technology solutions that align with performance, resiliency, and growth objectives.
• Advise leadership on industry trends, standards, and innovations in data center technology.
• Review and guide the design of structured cabling systems, network infrastructure, and IT spaces (MDF/IDF, white space, telecom rooms).

• Planning, developing, coordinating, and directing multiple projects for a variety of clients

Facility Design Engineer

• Generally responsible for performing all aspects for a complete design of complex mechanical engineering assignments
• Work at this level requires extensive progressive experience in mechanical engineering and involves applying advanced engineering techniques and analysis
• Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to: familiarity with and utilizing department design and drafting standards
• Familiarity with project scope, specifications and design criteria upon assignment to a project task team
• On-site assistance during startup
• Accomplishing engineering activities such as stress analysis, construction specifications, material procurement specifications, calculations and piping estimates
• Developing conceptual layouts and cost studies as necessary to determine the simplest, most efficient approach to solving engineering tasks at hand
• Producing estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs suitable for the level of the estimate being performed on a project
• Producing detail design calculations and sketches for materials of construction associated with the project

• Responsible for the design, modeling, and documentation of passive thermal insulation systems
• Develop complete 3D and 2D models and engineering drawings for passive thermal insulation systems using CREO
• Produce drawings in .CATDrawing or .drw file formats in accordance with program standards
• Support design of MLI blanket flat patterns, layup stackups, and installation details for cylindrical and complex geometries
