Learning and Development

• Design and develop learning experiences across multiple formats, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, learner workbooks, job aids, quick-reference guides, and knowledge checks.
• Build scalable, agent-centered training content using tools such as Articulate 360, Canva, Google Suite, and Confluence and apply adult learning principles that drive measurable behavior change.
• Partner with subject matter experts across Operations, Product, Underwriting, Service, and Sales to gather information, validate content accuracy, and translate complex concepts into practical guidance.
• Lead the organization, accuracy, and governance of Kin’s operational knowledge base, including content standards, tagging conventions, audits, and version control practices.
• Revise and update learning content quickly in response to process improvements, product launches, regulatory updates, or system changes while maintaining high quality and consistency.
• Create operational communication assets such as announcements, reinforcement materials, quick-start guides, and leader talking points that support successful rollout and adoption of new initiatives.
• Track knowledge base health metrics and learner engagement data to identify opportunities for content improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews, approvals, and publishing workflows across training and communication materials.
• Maintain reusable templates, style guides, and scalable content components that improve development speed and consistency across the Operations Training team.
• Integrate generative AI tools into content development workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and speed without sacrificing content quality or learner experience.

Instructional Designer

• Design and develop high-quality, technically complex, scalable online learning experiences in collaboration with academic stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Design high-quality and valid assessments to assess evidence of learning for both formative and summative performances
• Engage in ongoing quality reviews and participate in data-informed assessments of learning experiences
• Independently manage multiple project timelines and available resources while driving towards ongoing process efficiencies in instructional design and development efforts
• Apply instructional design skills, relevant learning theories, and knowledge of learning technologies and environments

• Lead and manage the Operations learning delivery function, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of onboarding ~200 new hires annually, and continuous learning programs for our existing front line teams
• Develop and coach a team of 3-5 facilitators, providing performance management, mentorship, and professional development
• Own and manage the Operations training calendar and team capacity
• Partner with Operations leaders to identify knowledge gaps, emerging skill needs, and opportunities for targeted learning interventions
• Translate operational feedback and performance trends into actionable training improvements and new learning initiatives
• Monitor trainee performance trends and operational metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs
• Facilitate training sessions ~30% of time to support trainer capacity or high-priority initiatives

Operations Training Manager, Delivery

• Partner with SMEs and functional leads to translate complex processes into clear, audience-appropriate content
• Design and develop learning experiences — e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and microlearning — applying instructional design principles to ensure content is engaging and outcome-aligned
• Assist in maintaining Learning Management System (LMS) organizing and uploading content, as well as tracking and reporting on usage metrics
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for live and virtual training sessions, including facilitator prep and post-session follow-up
• Leverage AI tools to increase efficiency across writing, research, and content development workflows
• Support new tool and process rollouts with adoption-focused training materials
• Maintain content libraries, document templates, and version control
• Manage training calendars (i.e. - Focus Fridays) with communicate guidelines and calendar holds
• Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications — owning clarity, tone, and consistency across all channels
• Manage distribution lists and the internal communications calendar
• Own end-to-end production of the quarterly All Hands deck, coordinating stakeholder content and ensuring materials are polished and on time
• Develop and manage GO’s content calendar, creating case studies, blog posts, whitepapers, social content, and award submissions into compelling, brand-aligned pieces
• Manage end-to-end logistics for conferences and external events: travel, registration, materials shipping, and booth needs
• Plan and execute internal events — team summits, offsites, happy hours — including venue, catering, AV, and attendee communications
• Build and maintain processes for tracking internal tool usage and sentiment metrics, delivering reporting on these metrics to key stakeholders and leadership
• Aggregate team feedback and survey data into actionable insights that key stakeholders and leaders can evaluate to strengthen adoption.
• Track project timelines and proactively flag risks
• Act as point of contact for additional inbound Performance Enablement requests outside of daily L&D functions, coordinating with the Dir of Communications & Trainings about priorities and next steps.

Communications and L&D Coordinator

• Develop and maintain comprehensive training modules incorporating federal agency-based content for federal programs
• Conduct monthly SMS Information Briefs (SIBs) via Microsoft Teams to keep facility managers and federal staff updated on developments
• Create and update self-directed training content, ensuring alignment with current agencies' manuals
• Maintain communication with stakeholders through distribution lists and coordinate regular training sessions
• Monitor and incorporate system updates, policy changes, and helpdesk FAQs into training materials
• Prepare and deliver monthly briefings that are concise, relevant, and valuable to the target audience
• Maintain and update training documentation to reflect current versions and federal agency requirements
• Track participation, gather feedback, and analyze training effectiveness to improve program delivery
• Coordinate with teams to ensure training content accuracy and relevance
