Field Engineer

Field Service Engineer

• Support customers and partners during product evaluation, integration, development, testing, and production
• Provide technical guidance for embedded firmware/SDK integration, Bluetooth connectivity, audio features, and connected device behavior
• Reproduce, debug, document, and handle/escalate customer issues within the organization
• Work closely with sales teams to support customer discussions, design-in activities, and new business opportunities
• Manage customer samples, collect technical feedback, and share insights with internal product and engineering teams
• Review and support customer-facing technical documentation, integration guides, specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts when needed
• Travel for on-site customer support when required

Field Application Engineer – Embedded

• Responsible for utilizing an advanced understanding of the customer needs and technical leadership expertise to champion return on engineering investment.
• Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
• Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities, providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
• Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders up to date on activities, plans, and progressing towards initiatives.
• Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and QBR.

Senior Field Applications Engineer

• Deliver industry’s best customer support experience
• Work side by side with sales to technically sell the product
• Provide ongoing technical support and custom testing to existing customers
• Create and maintain relevant customer and industry networks
• Develop technical documents and provide training to fabricators, OEMs and sales engineers
• Extract information from customers to find solutions
• Aid in the development of future technology platforms

Technical Service Engineer

• Provide on-site technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs as needed to optimize performance and reliability
• Install, upgrade, and configure software applications, operating systems, and utilities on end-user devices, ensuring compatibility and adherence to organizational standards
• Ensure connectivity to local area networks (LANs), wireless networks, and internet services
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist with network infrastructure setup and maintenance
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to end-users on IT systems, applications, and security best practices
• Educate users on self-service tools and resources to empower them to resolve common issues independently
• Maintain accurate records of support activities, including ticket logging, resolution steps, and hardware/software inventory
• Document troubleshooting procedures and user guides for future reference

IT Field Support Specialist

• Provide onsite service, maintenance, and technical support for DPS robotics systems and related digital platforms
• Ensure high system uptime, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, and Technical teams to support the growth of the DPS Robotics business
• Perform installation, commissioning, and validation of DPS robotics systems and associated hardware/software at customer sites
• Execute preventive maintenance, corrective service calls, updates, retrofits, and upgrades in accordance with service standards and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical, robotic, software, and system-integration issues in hospital and laboratory environments
• Provide technical and logistical support to DPS Sales, Clinical Application, and Marketing teams during system installations, evaluations, and customer demonstrations
• Manage all service activities within the assigned territory, including planning, scheduling, and execution of service visits in a timely and cost-efficient manner

• Develop and maintain favorable working relationships in all contacts with customers, sales representatives and company personnel.
• Field service and lab test operation as needed.
• Maintain contact with customers either from our offices or at the customers facility as required.
• Prepare and enter complex orders requiring engineering, scheduling and purchase requisitioning.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding delivery, tracing, pricing, etc., of parts orders.
• Expedite orders as required.
• Maintain necessary records and reference data to facilitate parts order processing.
• Perform various functions such as customer credit check, sales order re-issues, complaints follow up, updating customer accounts and maintaining order status.
• In coordination with marketing, develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share for replacement parts.
• Travel as needed, approximately 50%
