• Perform servicing of fire pumps systems in line with specified scope of works, ensuring servicing is completed fully and to a high standard of quality.
• Provide detailed and accurate servicing reports, providing an assessment of any remedial requirements to ensure the integrity of the fire systems for our clients.
• Perform any repair work as required to fire pumps systems, in line with the scope of works set out and agreed with the client.
• Travel outside of area where needed, to service our client needs.
• Perform monthly stock checks on your van, to provide timely stock sheets to our Stores.
• Perform monthly PPE and Vehicle checks, to provide timely and forms to our safety team.
• Attend out of hours call outs as and when needed.

• Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practice within the industry.

Fire Pump Engineer

• Contribute to the design of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems solutions
• Lead Electrical, Control and Instrument (EC&I) engineering project teams
• Responsible for overall delivery of early-stage requirements FEED work packages
• Input into overall direction of the EC&I Capability and resourcing

Principal EC&I Engineer

• Provision of cost-effective engineering design solutions and high-quality customer service.

• Work in a range of sectors from residential buildings through to rail transportation or new energy facilities.

• Support the delivery of project work within time and cost budgets.
• Keep up to date with regulations and legislation.
• Developing fire engineering solutions on projects and ensuring the fire engineering strategy delivered.
• Assess fire related risks in projects and working collaboratively to mitigate where possible.
• Review and comment on the quality of fire safety related installations.
• Undertake tenders for new work.
• Prepare reports, take part in design team meetings, and liaise with client representatives as required.

Senior Fire Engineer

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, models, and layouts to support engineering and project delivery activities.
• Interpret design briefs, technical specifications, and site data to develop accurate and compliant drawings.
• Conduct regular site visits to gather measurements, verify conditions, and resolve design or construction challenges.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet functional, regulatory, and project requirements.

CAD Engineer

• Responsible to the Network Manager the Control Engineer will manage a section of the distribution network.
• You will maintain an overview of network security and availability.
• You ensure the Distribution Safety Rules are complied with alongside other procedures that are important for the safe operation of a high voltage system.
• Giving both advice and instruction and operating the system remotely they are important to making sure that UK Power Networks provides a safe and rapid response to faults and other unplanned situations.
• They also check and authorise planned operations on the network.
• They provide important data to the business to ensure compliance with licence conditions.

High Voltage Control Engineer

• Develop, test, and characterise optical frequency comb systems for quantum technology applications.
• Support design and testing of photonic components relevant to comb generation, including resonators, lasers, modulators, passive devices, and integrated photonic circuits.
• Build and operate optical test setups for frequency comb characterisation, stabilisation, and performance validation.
• Perform laser characterisation, including optical spectra, frequency noise, relative intensity noise, linewidth, and stability measurements.
• Characterise modulated laser systems, including high-speed waveform measurements and RF/optical measurement setups.
• Develop automated test methods and data analysis workflows for frequency comb and photonic device characterisation.
• Collaborate with integrated photonics, quantum systems, electronics, and software teams to integrate frequency comb technologies into larger systems.

Frequency Comb Photonics Engineer

• Supporting a team of Systems Engineers and training team specialists working on Marine Simulation/Training Equipment
• Work as a member of the wider team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for our Customer’s training sites and organisations
• Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data, participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis
• Work with the customer and the customer’s agents and suppliers to identify technical data required for courseware and media development and also external routes to obtain the data
• Work with the courseware and media content developers to contextualise training and language and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied to the training solution
