Chief Technology Officer

• The Head of Technology leads Tallo’s engineering and technology organization.
• Developing and supporting the existing team and growing the structures and systems that power a career platform.
• Manages engineering managers who lead software engineering and QA teams.
• Sets the technical direction for the platform and partnerships closely with Product, Data, Marketing, and company leadership.
• Accountable for the structure and health of the engineering organization, soundness of Tallo’s technical architecture, and delivery against the product roadmap.
• Guides engineering practices and improves processes.
• Advocates safety, security, and compliance for technology while working with various teams.
• Partners with data and product teams to ensure delivery of user-centered outcomes.

Head of Technology

• Support the development of strategic IT policy and governance frameworks that align the Army IT Strategy with National Strategy Documents and DoD IT Portfolio Management (PfM) compliance criteria and guidance.
• Plan, monitor, and develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of Army IT strategic governance systems and the IT strategic decision-making model.
• Present recommendations on strategic policies, processes, and practices for Army Senior Leader decisions.
• Utilize the Army Enterprise Reference Architecture to determine strategic options for Mission Areas, cross-mission area integration, Multi-Domain Operations, Joint/Special Operations Forces (SOF), and Coalition requirements.
• Analyze and articulate the requirements for the governance of enterprise IT.
• Conduct performance assessments of the Army IT portfolio to inform IT strategy development and portfolio planning.
• Identify strategy performance gaps based on strategic performance metrics and present improvement recommendations.
• Make recommendations for resolving systemic issues identified during assessment and analysis activities.

Information Technology Strategist

• Advise enterprise customers on how to adopt and operationalise AI in ways that create measurable business impact
• Lead executive workshops and discovery engagements focused on AI strategy, intelligent automation, developer productivity, modernisation and digital transformation
• Help organisations identify high-value AI opportunities across customer experience, operations, software delivery and internal platforms
• Shape transformation roadmaps that combine AI, cloud, data and modern engineering practices into practical execution strategies
• Guide customers through the organisational, operational and technology changes required to become AI-enabled businesses
• Build trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and senior business stakeholders
• Facilitate strategic conversations around innovation, modernisation, operating models and emerging technology adoption
• Translate complex business and technology challenges into actionable transformation programmes and investment priorities
• Help clients define measurable business outcomes, success metrics and value frameworks for strategic initiatives
• Shape complex solution strategies spanning AI-enabled products, intelligent platforms, cloud modernisation and digital experiences
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design and delivery teams to define differentiated, scalable and commercially viable solutions
• Drive experience-led modernisation approaches that improve agility, resilience, speed to market and customer outcomes
• Ensure solution strategies align to modern engineering principles, platform thinking and scalable delivery models
• Support the growth of strategic customer accounts through trusted advisory and value-led engagement
• Shape strategic pursuits, proposals and large-scale opportunities across AI, modernisation and digital transformation
• Develop compelling business cases and outcome narratives that clearly articulate ROI, operational impact and strategic value
• Partner with Client Principals and delivery leaders to identify expansion opportunities and long-term growth strategies
• Stay close to developments across AI, cloud, developer tooling, platform engineering and enterprise technology trends
• Contribute to Nearform’s market propositions, strategic partnerships and thought leadership across AI and modern engineering
• Help shape new offerings and go-to-market strategies based on evolving enterprise customer needs
• Represent Nearform externally through workshops, events, industry conversations and strategic customer engagements

Field CTO

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud services, DevOps support, network management, system administration, and end-user support
• Ensure reliable, high-availability delivery of internal technology services aligned to business needs and SLAs
• Own IT service management practices, including incident, change, problem, and asset management (ITIL-aligned)
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing, and readiness
• Establish and manage the IT operations budget, driving cost optimization and operational efficiency
• Track and report on KPIs, SLAs, and operational risk metrics to executive leadership
• Drive automation and modernization initiatives to improve reliability and reduce manual effort
• Own day-to-day operational security management for company systems outside of product engineering
• Triage, track, and manage incoming security issues across platforms and stakeholders
• Serve as the operational lead for security incidents, including intake, assessment, escalation, documentation, and communication
• Partner with Engineering and IT to prioritize remediation efforts and manage risk-based tradeoffs

Head of Technology – Security Operations

• Lead enterprise PMO functions across a portfolio of technology initiatives
• Drive delivery excellence, governance, and cross-functional alignment
• Partner with Product, Operations, Finance and Engineering to ensure roadmap execution and operational rigor
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CTO, supporting leadership operations and engineering alignment
• Facilitate key leadership cadences, including daily, weekly, and monthly engineering forums
• Oversee workforce planning and staffing alignment across business units
• Provide clear executive-level reporting on delivery health, risks, and progress
