About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the consortium
  • Establish and maintain operating cadences
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes
  • Drive accountability for milestone delivery across the consortium
  • Establish a unified project and portfolio management framework
  • Collect, validate, analyze, and report consortium data
  • Work with the CEO for the preparation of all required NSF reports
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting
  • Oversee the consortium’s communications strategy
  • Recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain a high-performing operations team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in progressively responsible operational leadership experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder organization.
  • Knowledge of structured project management methodologies (e.g., PMI/PMBOK, agile)
  • Demonstrated experience with federal grant administration and sponsored programs reporting
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license.
