About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the day-to-day operations of the consortium
- Establish and maintain operating cadences
- Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes
- Drive accountability for milestone delivery across the consortium
- Establish a unified project and portfolio management framework
- Collect, validate, analyze, and report consortium data
- Work with the CEO for the preparation of all required NSF reports
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting
- Oversee the consortium’s communications strategy
- Recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain a high-performing operations team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in progressively responsible operational leadership experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder organization.
- Knowledge of structured project management methodologies (e.g., PMI/PMBOK, agile)
- Demonstrated experience with federal grant administration and sponsored programs reporting
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license.
