• Lead and develop a team of billing & AR professionals with coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure accurate, timely billing across claims, fees, and client charges.
• Design and maintain strong billing controls to prevent errors and duplicate charges.
• Monitor AR balances, unapplied cash, and payment trends to improve collection efficiency.
• Build dashboards and metrics to track accuracy, timeliness, and quality outcomes.
• Partner across Finance, IT, and Client Experience teams to streamline processes and implement new tools.
• Act as a subject matter expert during audits, client reviews, and system upgrades.

Billing and Accounts Receivables Quality Manager

• Responsible for timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers, agencies, and others
• Handle equipment and services provided by Providence Senior and Community Services and Home and Community Services including Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy/Oral Dose, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Hospice, and Home Medical Equipment

Accounts Receivable Representative

• Investigate and resolve unresolved claims (denials, underpayments, delayed payments); troubleshoot claim data and submit written appeals with supporting documentation and timely follow-up
• Verify eligibility, identify payor changes, and accurately update coordination of benefits (COB); navigate payor portals to identify correct payors
• Make outbound calls and collaborate with insurance payors and partner facility business offices for claim resolution; answer incoming calls professionally
• Identify and communicate denial trends and coding issues to support clean claim processing
• Perform account reconciliation — identify overpayments, complete refund requests, and process insurance takebacks via ERAs
• Resolve assigned worklist items with detailed account documentation; maintain daily AR log reporting to Supervisor and meet department productivity standards

Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Collect all information needed to produce customer invoices, assemble and create monthly invoices.
• Check accuracy of data input in accounting system to ensure accuracy of final invoices.
• Collect revenue by sending reminders and following up with customers.
• Research and resolve billing errors and issue debit/credit memos when necessary.
• 1099 vendor management support including onboarding, compliance tracking, ongoing communication.
• Enter all vendor information into accounting system.
• Process vendor invoices by verifying transaction information, preparing disbursements and obtaining authorization of payment.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure gathering of timely and accurate bills.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for the timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers, agencies and others.
• Tasks could include service lines of Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy/Oral Dose, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Hospice, and Home Medical Equipment.

• Monitor portfolio of accounts daily and identify outstanding account receivables
• Investigate historical data for debts and bills and take actions to encourage timely payments
• Process payments, credits, and refunds
• Research and respond to customer inquiries regarding billing-related issues
• Reconcile accounts for billing and cash application and resolve customer credit issues
• Contact customers (via phone and email) with overdue balances and collect payment
• Negotiate payment plans within approved guidelines
• Update account status records and keep up-to-date accurate notes on customer records
• Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
• Contact customers with declined credit cards and respond to ACH chargebacks within allotted time from the bank
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to voicemails in a timely manner
• Respond to internal requests and manage email inboxes daily (personal and group email inboxes)
• Help customers navigate through the cancellation process to settle their contract balance
• Review accounts that have filed for bankruptcy
• Work with a 3rd party collections agency and submit delinquent accounts
• Escalate issues which need additional review
• Other projects and tasks as assigned

• Keeps track of received data and source documents.
• Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
• Contacts originators of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
• Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen, and enters necessary codes. Makes necessary corrections to information entered.
• Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
• Keeps record of work completed.
• Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer.
• Transmits entered information into database. Files or routes source documents after entry.
