About the role
- Manage the Elkay residential sales strategy and execution with our rep agencies, providing direction, training, and tools to ensure delivery of initiatives.
- Convert new single family builder business to drive specifications and sales to Elkay showroom partners.
- Manage customer relationships with key showroom personnel and execute strategic growth initiatives with showrooms to gain increased displays, stock, and joint pull through sales activities.
- Drive increased specifications with residential architects and designers through brand awareness activities, product presentations, active involvement in networking associations, and other strategic initiatives.
- Ensure successful residential new product launches including completing product training, launch events, and ensuring display gains.
- Collect, analyze and report on residential trends and provide market information, including competitive information, programs and pricing to product management and marketing.
- Manage implementation of showroom programs, promotions, and CRM adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or equivalent field required.
- 8+ years of previous field sales experience – in either construction or showroom sales &/or sales management role.
- Experience calling on home builders and A&D community preferred.
- Location in territory- West coast.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Ability to travel 50% regionally.
