About the role
- Lead and direct a team of technical Claims Professionals in low to high-exposure claims in commercial property/casualty lines of business.
- Coordinate the work activities of the team and be responsible for performance, development, and coaching of staff to maximize contributions and drive operational improvements.
- Report on a hybrid work schedule to various North American Claims offices.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims area OR Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims AND Customer service experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience collaborating across work groups
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment
- Travel 0-20%
