About the role
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Work with product and engineering teams to define project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Identify and engage with all stakeholders.
- Communicate project expectations and updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate steering committees.
- Work with the project team to surface risks and issues.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead and motivate project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure adherence to risk and governance processes.
- Facilitate project governance meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key project stakeholders, contributors and sponsors.
- Ensure effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present regular status reports.
- Work with key stakeholders to embed change effectively.
- Coaching individuals and teams to address dysfunctions and improve delivery outcomes.
- Mentor junior colleagues in industry best practice and Zopa ways of working.
Requirements
- You have experience in a Delivery related role.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You have experience managing medium/large multi team projects.
- You have experience managing both technical and non-technical projects
- You have worked closely with product managers and software engineers.
- You have experience building and maintaining detailed project plans.
- You are a keen problem solver and can navigate ambiguity effectively.
- You have experiencing managing senior and C-level stakeholders.
- You have a solid understanding of change management principles.
- You can prioritize effectively and know when to escalate for guidance.
- You are proactive in identifying and addressing your development needs.
- You are happy to come into the office at least 2 times a week or as required.
