Develop and execute reliability strategies, predictive maintenance programs, and efficient maintenance planning to maximize asset performance, uptime, and lifecycle.
Lead a team of reliability engineers, maintenance planners, and spare parts personnel; define and implement reliability and maintenance planning strategies aligned with site goals.
Oversee condition monitoring, predictive maintenance (PdM), asset health programs, root cause analysis, and failure investigations.
Establish and maintain asset criticality rankings and reliability KPIs; drive initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and improve MTBF.
Manage maintenance planning and scheduling, ensuring high-quality work orders, job plans, and labor efficiency; coordinate shutdowns, PMs, and major capital projects.
Optimize use of CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and maintain rolling maintenance schedule.
Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement planning, storeroom operations; implement inventory optimization techniques and ensure GMP compliance.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with cGMP, FDA, USDA, EU and EHS regulations; support audits and inspections.
Lead asset reliability improvement initiatives using OEE and digital tools; standardize best practices across the site.
Work 1st Shift, 8:00am – 5:00pm; safely work in an industrial environment and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance planning, or asset management.
3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
Strong background in cGMP and regulatory compliance.
Expertise in reliability methodologies (RCM, FMEA, RCA).
Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma).
Experience with CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo, or similar).
Knowledge of spare parts optimization and MRO storeroom management.
Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies and tools.
Proficiency with reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE, etc.).
Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
