About the role
- Zirtual has partnered with a Colorado law firm to find the right 1099 remote paralegal for their office.
- Zirtual provides US-based virtual paralegals across practice areas, both transactional and litigation.
- Paralegal is main point of contact with assigned client(s) and works independently with law firms.
- Paralegal receives support from an Account Supervisor for plan modifications, feedback, delegation, and collaboration.
- Provide high-level professional service on tasks and projects as assigned; ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- Responsible for familiarity with each client’s needs and preferences, maintaining detailed client profiles, and following best practices.
- Must maintain consistent, proactive communication; be available during agreed business hours; enter time daily; respond within mutually established expectations.
- Position: Colorado law firm focused on probate and estate planning; part-time 10 hours per month with room for increase; Colorado experience preferred.
- Responsibilities: Draft probate and estate planning documents; assist with template creation; miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- Additional assets: Experience with WealthCounsel or Knackly; experience with case management programs like Clio.
Requirements
- Paralegal experience handling Colorado probate and estate planning matters preferred, but not required.
- Business hour availability
- Reliable home internet and computer
- Remote work experience preferred
